Our mission
To ease suffering and eradicate poverty among the most vulnerable through sustainable, dignified support — never a hand-out, always a hand up.
A charity built on a lifelong friendship and a shared belief: that compassion, delivered honestly and directly, can change a family's future for generations.
Hope For The Needy was established in 2014 by 14 childhood friends — people who grew up together and have known one another for more than 35 to 40 years. They shared the same values and the same quiet desire: to give something good back to their communities by serving the most disadvantaged and poorest regions of the world, with love and compassion.
Twelve years on, we are still strong, still together, and still serving. We work alongside some of the most needy, vulnerable and disadvantaged communities — families, widows and orphans living in extreme conditions — with one clear aim: to help eradicate poverty through long-term, sustainable support that allows people to become self-sufficient.
To ease suffering and eradicate poverty among the most vulnerable through sustainable, dignified support — never a hand-out, always a hand up.
A world where every family — including widows and orphans in the hardest places — can live safely, securely and self-sufficiently.
A 100% donation policy. Every single penny you give reaches the cause — no deductions, no exceptions, fully accountable.
Four commitments guide every project we take on.
Building safe, permanent homes for families living in extreme conditions.
Feeding the poor during crises — above all through our Ramadan food distribution.
Tube wells, sanitation and essential medicine that protect whole communities.
Education and income-generating projects that break the cycle of poverty for good.
Fourteen lifelong friends formalise a shared promise into a charity, beginning work in the poorest regions of South East Asia.
Our first food-pack distributions launch ahead of the Holy month — a project that has continued every year since.
Tube wells, sanitation and rapid relief for flood and disaster victims, including support for displaced Rohingya families.
Our Sustainable Impact Projects move from temporary shelters to permanent homes, carefully selected and meticulously managed.
Twelve years on, education and income-generating projects help more families stand on their own — with a 100% donation policy throughout.
